I have been meaning to post some new paintings...and here they are!
Meet the Von Woodsy sisters...
They live in the woods (of course!) and take care of their sweet little animal friends. They are painted on 9x12 inch carved wood panels. I think they are almost finished. Even though I like the mysterious brownish-black background, I may just add something to it...
Here are my latest creations. The baby bear is a rattle & the baby elves are from my Cupcake Collection. In honor of my daughter's upcoming first birthday! I can't believe she is almost one... She has been a good little tester for my soft toys.

I received a wonderful package this weekend with a lovely doll inside. Her name is Frannie and she is created by the talented Christine of Du Buh Du Designs. You can see more of her gorgeous dolls here.
I made a little bumblebird for Frannie to keep her company during her stay in my studio...
