Both the girls fell asleep in the car today on our way home from lunch. 

(Finally, a nap!)

 So, I drew a bit and played around with my computer.

I hope everyone had a great weekend with family and friends. We had summer-like weather here and spent most of the weekend lounging outside with the girls while they splashed about in the pool.

And I promise to be better with the posting. I try to post once a week. But, lately I've been a bit lacking. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Good news though, I was able to make some new plush and dolls...

from bunny wunny to nunny...

A silly title, right?

My youngest daughter refers to her bunny as a "nunny". And this latest design is no exception. She is never without her very own nunny. With the exception of that really LONG weekend in Vermont this past winter, when she pulled it out of my bag as we were loading the car...only to discover it was missing once we arrived. (note to self: never let the bunny out of your sight!)

I think she just might be taking a liking to this one, too.

I recently found out my picture of Flight of Bumblebird is in the Summer issue of Artful Blogging. Oooh... so exciting! As this is the first time one of my images has appeared in a magazine. It's part of a feature article on Lisa Swiftka, the creator and hostess of One Heart-One World, a wonderful annual gathering of fellow bloggers. Congratulations to Lisa and everyone who participated! I look forward to next year...

The sunshine is calling my name. It's time to go outside and play...
