This post has been in the works for at least two weeks...and here I return.
Finally out of hibernation.
So what have I been up to in the past weeks? Well, not really a whole lot. Probably why I didn't feel like writing here. Mostly just cleaning, purging, reading and scheming while cursing the cold, wind and snow. Finally Spring is here and we are all so ready to get back out into the big beautiful world.
I've also been a little down, especially after the recent tragedy in Japan. I feel incredibly shallow for my lowly complaints of weather, finances, messy house and grumpy kids, when thousands are struggling to just live, especially when they have lost so much. My heart aches for them and my thoughts are filled with their grief. For now, I will cease to complain, express my gratitude each and every day and enjoy the beautiful bounty that is my family and life. It could all go away in an instant.
This past week I sewed a batch of bunnies for my shop, along with a special edition bunny...
Pepper bunny measures 14 inches tall and is made from soft pink fleece with pink and white polka dot legs. She has black wool hair peeking out from her bunny costume and her face is hand painted. 50% of the proceeds from her sale will be donated to the Japanese Disaster Relief Fund.
I have one available for sale, but if you are interested in purchasing one, please contact me @ [email protected] and I will make one for you...
Thank you!
This is the cutest little pepper bunny and what a great idea to help Japan. I put off leaving a comment for a while thinking I would be able to
purchase one from you - gotta get through tax season first - hopefully at a later date, but I do want you to know, I think this is adorable. I love the elf finn I bought from you. I missed your blog and check often so keep writing.
