Our family has grown since we adopted two baby boy guinea pigs last month. This one pictured above is Butterscotch, named by my youngest daughter Lana. And Blaze is hiding in the wooden house, named by my eldest daughter Mina. Someday I will capture a photo of him.
The funniest thing, is after observing them for the last month, I've noticed the little piggy personalities are so similar to my girls. Butterscotch is social, likes to be held, a climber-we often find him on top of the house, doesn't say much, and LOVES to eat! Blaze is more cautious, LOVES to talk-every time the fridge opens HUGE squeals, grabs fresh veggies out of your fingers and dashes into the little house to devour them, and of course keeps Butterscotch in line.
I never had a guinea pig before, so this has been a real treat to learn all about them with my girls.
In other news, I added a few leather cuffs into my Etsy shop. They are designed and hand painted by me. Measuring 3/4 of an inch wide and will fit a wrist up to 7 1/2 inches around. These were SO fun to make and I am working on more colors and designs right now. This set is available here.
Have a great weekend everyone!
